The process of planning or acquisition cannot be initiated until the time the business makes sure that it is compliant with regulatory agencies. Preconditions

Planning

Site Engineer identifies all sites and broad locations within planning area to determine the accessibility of the suitable sites. Technical survey is conducted to evaluate site feasibility. The survey result determines sites and a unique Site ID is allocated to each site.

Acquisition

The Network Planning Manager prepares a Site Proposal by drawing consolidated framework over the map. Thereafter, the Network Planning Manager sends a site approval request to the government authorities to get their approval on site installation. Upon receiving the approval, site registration request is made to acquire the site.

Material Forecasting

A Field Engineer conducts an investigation for site installation. All supporting documents are uploaded. Based on that, a radio frequency survey is conducted on the site to check network adaptability. The Planning Manager forecast the materials needed to install a network infrastructure uploads Bill of Material. After identification of all assets, all related projects and tasks are assigned to the dedicated workgroup.

OSP Construction

The materials consumption details are managed in the Inventory System by the OSP Vendor. The Field Engineer checks for backhaul connectivity if required.

ISP Installation

The Field Engineer performs the installation of necessary equipments.

When the site is fully installed, then the Field Engineer performs site analysis to determine the proper safety measure has been followed during the site installation process.

STEP 1
Regulatory Compliance is done to make sure that the site is compliant; the first step that SiteForge implements is by collecting antenna information comprising of the data of the antenna with bandwidth, height, aperture, and azimuth. Power density is further calculated and the antenna center line is captured. This makes it certain that the methodology to be performed is carried out accurately and with precision. There are three methodologies which are broadly performed in Site Compliance.

STEP 2
Calculation Method is such wherein a Field Engineer visits the site and captures the parameters to ensure that the site is compliant and if the captured parameters exceed the limit of the government standards, azimuth and other parameters are adjusted to make the parameters compliant.

STEP 3
Broadband Method is such wherein a Field Engineer visits the site and comprises of a NARDA kit which is applied to capture the readings on the site. The NARDA kit measures the instruments with respect to the electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields owning patents for measuring the sites and fields as well. SiteForge ensures compliance with the help of NARDA kit and if the readings captured exceed the limit, the instruments are modified to come in line with the government regulations.

STEP 4
Narrow Band is such wherein parameters are captured by embedding it as zero level set of a higher dimensional function. If the parameters are beyond the set limitations, it is basically because of other operators.

Field Engineer implement formal inspections of the installed equipment’s, network performance testing, upload and download speed, SNR, and RSSI. An active walk test is performed to check network performance like mobility, accessibility, and availability. Field Engineer conducts test to identify network load and congestion.

STEP 5
Analytics and Reporting – A report is generated with the current status of the equipment’s.  The report is generated so as to extract meaningful insights that can further be used to better understand and enhance the site performance. Reporting interprets the raw data readings captured into significant information. An analysis on the same deciphers the data and information into insights.

In the calculation method, Field engineer visits the site to capture various parameters of cells like height, distance, azimuth, EIRP, and ERP and calibrate them with respect to making a site compliant. The broadband method comprises of the application of NARDA kit that run backend procedures to capture the cell readings. Any modification can be made to the cell azimuth if the reading exceeds the given range according to the government regulation. And in narrowband method, there are instances wherein parameters can be affected due to the availability of other operators; Narrowband method is implemented in such a scenario to test the electromagnetic radiations. If the readings are beyond the government standards, it is because of other operators and modifications can be made by implementing this method and talking to other operators.
